Youth Leadership Collierville

Youth Leadership Collierville is a seven-month program for sophomore and junior high school students living in Collierville, who attend public or private schools or are home-schooled.

Students gain a better understanding of the role that local business, government and service play in the success of a community and are encouraged to take a more active role in their school and town.  They also learn to communicate more effectively and work as a team.

One of the students’ favorite days is “Youth Leadership Service Day” where their entire class prepares a meal and interacts with the families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Memphis.

Since 1994 we have graduated 250 high school students from our Youth Program.

Leadership Collierville is a non-partisan, non-profit community organization founded in 1994.  Applications are accepted in August for the adult and youth program. For further information call Terry Dean, Program Director, at 853-1949.
